This Sonos speaker we feel is the best for overall sound. Yes, it is big but it gives off great sound that you can hear in larger rooms of your house. Worth the size so you can clean, cook, or just hangout with friends and be surrounded by good tunes!

These Bose Mini Soundlink may be small but give off great sound. We use ours for working out in our basement and as a sound bar for our projector when we do movie nights for the kids. The one we own is actually from 8 years ago and still works great! Definitely worth the investment!
